We are pleased to share with you that the Western Heritage Center has recently been awarded accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM). Accreditation is the highest national recognition of a museum’s commitment to public service, professional standards, and excellence in education. Museums are working every day in support of their public service mission. We are partnering with schools and senior centers to share regional history, bolstering the local economy by spurring tourism, fostering creativity and innovation, celebrating diverse cultures and heritages, and preserving our region’s important collections.
