Hoof-it with a Historian: Downtown Billings
Discover Billings! Join the weekly walking tour of downtown Billings and experience the sights and sounds of present day Billings, while a community historian shares insights and illustrates with historic photos from the Western Heritage Center archive. Explore the founding of Billings as a railroad town, examine architecture - old and new, discuss why the city is configured the way that it is, and interpret ghost signs still visible. This one hour tour, beginning at 11:45 each Friday at the Western Heritage Center, will interest both long-time Billings residents and visitors alike! See you downtown!
Tickets are available at the Western Heritage Center (2822 Montana Avenue): $10 for adults, $5 for students, children (under 12) are free. This one hour guided walking tour culminates with a pass to the Western Heritage Center. For more information, call 406-256-6809.
