High Noon Lecture Series
Once a month, on the third Thursday, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm, we offer a free lecture on an engaging history topic. High Noon lectures are often offered in a series with a common theme. Scheduled speakers and topics will be listed on the Calendar of Events.
Exhibits generally stay up for six months to a year and include interactive components and children’s activities.
Exhibits in our Community Gallery usually change every six weeks. They are often posters or photographs, with accompanying text. The Community Gallery is in the lower level, just off the Dude Ranch Lobby.

"Friends have asked me countless times when I was going to write 'the book' about that incredible period of my life. Even though it was many years ago, it is a good story about being sad, happy, excited, doing lots and lots of hard work that I fell into happily and, of course, about wonderful people and delicious food." Former owner of the Level 3 Tea Room, and newly published author, Marie Halone will share remembrances from the inception and operation of the elegant English-style tea room in a Billings, Montana department store and insights into the process of compiling her book, Level 3 and Me.
Chairman Jim Leach, of the National Endowment for the Humanities, will speak on civility and cross-cultural understanding as part of his 50 state Bridging Cultures Tour.
Join National Endowment for the Humanities Chairman Jim Leach in a wide-ranging conversation to discuss how we can make Montana an even better place to live. Seating is extremely limited, RSVP required by September 6.
